Configuration and use of MI006
In this chapter it is described the steps to work with the MI006 easily and quickly.
To be able to take full advantage of the MI006, it is recommended that you
completely read the entire manual.
4.1 Connecting and turning on the MI006
Connect the main supply cable to the mains supply socket [ 8 ] and plug the cable
to the mains. Check the main supply to be the correct one (see indication in the
MI006 cover: 110-240 V~ and 50/60 Hz).
To turn on the MI006, switch on the MI006 by means of the ON/OFF switch [3].
The ON/OFF indicator [ 4 ] will light.
Optionally, the MI006 can also be powered using the rechargeable battery
MB006 (option).
NOTE:
The MB006 is available at the time of purchase or later. If the battery is
acquired later, see [6] for more information about the assembly steps.
Through the yellow indicator BAT LED [5] you can know the status of the battery:
The indicator is permanently illuminated: The battery is fully charged.
The indicator flashes slowly (once every 5 seconds): the battery has an
average load and the MI006 can work properly.
The indicator flashes (once every two seconds): the battery needs to be
charged and it is possible that the MI006 cannot operate.
The indicator is off: The battery is completely exhausted.
To charge the MB006 battery, the MI006 must be turned on and connected to the
mains. During the charging process, the ON LED (red indicator) will lit
permanently and the BAT LED (yellow indicator) will flash quickly (once per
second). When the charging process is finished, the BAT LED (yellow indicator)
remains fixed.
