Do not power any depth sounders or fish finders from the trolling motor battery. Connecting electronic
equipment to the trolling motor batteries can cause electrical interference. Any depth sounders or fish
finders must be powered from the engine starting or accessory battery.
For best results, we recommend and encourage that all batteries should be charged immediately after
each use. Disconnect the outboard from the battery before you start charging. Charge to capacity, slowly
and frequently to maintain in good condition.
Battery Connection
The red wire should connect to positive; the black wire should connect to negative. It is recommended
install a circuit breaker in line with positive lead. The battery should always be kept in a well ventilated
location.
Be sure that all switches are in the "OFF" position before connection to the battery.
