Place the skis in the box and secure them
using the straps.
In order to further secure the load, a soft
object (a blanket or the like) can be placed as
illustrated.
NOTE
Check that the load is secured correctly.
NOTE
Do not open the car's roof hatch/sun
roof/panoramic roof when the roof box is
fitted. This can be damaged.
NOTE
The load in the box is to be secured using the
straps.
Check regularly that the box is secured firmly
on the load carrier rails and that the straps
are tightened correctly.
Note that wind noise can occur when the roof
box is installed.
The load must be positioned in the box so
that the weight is evenly distributed.
Refer to the car's Owner's Manual for
information about the maximum permitted
load on the roof of the car. Remember that it
is the combined weight of the load carrier,
roof box and the load in the roof box.

NOTE
Be aware of the car's change in height and
driving characteristics with the roof box. Pay
particular attention to deep garage entrances
or low viaducts, low hanging branches, etc
Check that the box is properly locked and the
key removed before travelling.
Adjust the speed to the load transported and
of course to appropriate speed limits,
maximum 130 km/h.
Remove the roof box and load carrier rails
before using an automatic car wash.
