Malfunctions

Engine is not starting!
• Travel drive rotary grip not in O position.
• Choke in wrong position.
• Fuel valve not opened.
• Fuel tank empty or deposits in the carburettor.
• Fuel hose or fuel filter clogged.
• Spark plug terminal not on spark plug.
• Spark plug defective.
• Water in the carburettor.
• Battery charge too low, check fuses.
• Fault in electrical system.
Engine running, but machine not moving!
• Freewheeling lever in wrong position.
• Not enough hydraulic oil.
Engine misfiring or suddenly stopping!
• Fuel filter clogged.
• Fuel tank empty.
• Fuel valve closed.
• Choke in wrong position.
• Air filter or cooling air suction filter of the engine clogged.
• Water in the carburettor or water separator.
• Fault in electrical system.
Engine running, but attachment is not being powered!
• Dead man handle not pressed down.
• PTO shaft connection sleeve is not engaged.
• Fault in electrical system.
• Switch PTO shaft switch off and on (in combination with electric starter).
• Stationary operation activated.
If you are unable to remedy the operational fault yourself, you must consult an authorised
Rapid dealer.
