Connecting the machine to the power source

Caution:
Always make sure that the machine is unplugged from
the power source and the main switch is on "O" when
the machine is not in use and before inserting or
removing parts.
-
This machine is equipped with a polarized plug
which must be used with an appropriate electrical
outlet.
-
fit the nonreversible plug into the main plug socket
and then plug the machine to a power source as
illustrated in Fig. 1.
-
Turn the power switch "On".
-
The sewing light turns on automatically when the
machine is turned "On".
Caution:
-
Do not use extension cords or multi-plug adapters
with many other appliances plugged in to them. Fire
or electric shock can occur.
-
Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Electric shock
may result.
-
When unplugging the machine, always turn off the
power switch first. Then grasp the plug to remove it
from the outlet.
-
Do not allow the power cord to be cut, damaged,
modified, pulled, twisted or bundled. Do not place
heavy objects on the cord. Do not subject the cord
to heat. These things may damage the cord and
cause electric shock or fire. If the cord is damaged,
return to EURO-PRO for repair before continuing to
use.

Foot Control

-
To start the machine, press on the foot control.
(Fig. 2) The speed of the sewing machine can be
regulated by the amount of pressure exerted on the
foot control.
Attention:
Consult a qualified electrician if in doubt as to
connecting the machine to a power source. Unplug the
power cord when the machine is not in use.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
modify the plug in any way. (Fig. 3)
