b. Mounting the receiver
• Install the receiver approximately 1m above the ground for better reception.
• Make sure there is a power point in the vicinity.
• Only place the receiver on rugged and stable surfaces. Use a suitable underlay when you place the receiver
on sensitive surfaces.
7. Connection
When installing the camera, check the reception of the monitor before final installation. Have someone hold the
camera in the area to be monitored. Have another person move the monitor to a variety of locations throughout
the house to check the reception. If interference or other problems occur, refer to the "Troubleshooting" section.
a. Camera
1. Plug the AC/DC adapter cable into the DC input jack on the side of the camera.
2. Plug the adapter into the mains (110VAC or 240VAC).
3. Use either the adapter or use 2 x AA batteries for mobile use. The 2 x AA batteries' lifetime is 1.5h without IR
function and 1h with IR function.
b. Receiver
1. Plug the AC/DC adapter cable into the DC input jack on the side of the receiver.
2. Plug the AV cable into the receiver. Plug the other end into a suitable monitor or TV system with an AV cinch
input (white plug = mono audio, yellow plug = video).
3. Plug the adapter into the mains (110VAC or 240VAC). The power indicator LED located on top of the receiver
should light up.
4. Use either the adapter or use 2 x AA batteries for mobile use. The 2 x AA batteries' lifetime is 1.5h without IR
function and 1h with IR function.
