Operation
Selecting the Country
The original configuration is for Spain, and so will emit
messages in Spanish. Nevertheless, when being installed
in another country, this can be selected and so the module
will emit the messages in the corresponding language.
From now on, the messages generated will be emitted in
the selected language, or through a tone code (*) for
"international", and the electrical operation will adapt to
the required Standards of the Country.
The selection is maintained until a different one is selected,
even if the power supply is interrupted.
(*) Relation of messages emitted in tone code.
* One long, high tone = "Roca Heating. Enter code" or "Correct
code. Select function".
* One long, deep tone = "Wrong code. Enter code".
* Two short, high tones = "Enter new code".
* One short, high tone = "Heating ON".
* One short, deep tone = "Heating OFF".
* One long, high tone = "Select function".
* One long, deep tone followed by one long, high tone = "Wrong
code. Select function".
Remote mode operation
1 – Dial the number of the telephone that is connected to
the equipment. At the eight ring the message "Roca
heating. Enter code" is emitted, audible in the
earpiece.
2 – By using a digital telephone or a DTMF tone generator
(not supplied with the equipament) on the telephone
line, dial the private four digit access code for the
equipment (the original is engraved on the lower right-
hand side of the nameplate, beside the word "CODE"),
or whichever one you have substituted.
If fewer than four digits are entered communication is
broken; if more than four are entered, according to what
theay are, some function may start (when the first four
are the code and the others are a function).
a) If the code introduced is not correct, the equipment
emits the message "Wrong code. Enter code". Three
attempts only are available for entering the correct code.
b) If the code introduced is correct, the equipment emits
the message "Correct code. Select function".
Warning:
If at any time 30 seconds pass without dialling the
telephone or tone generator, communication will be broken.
Changing the access code
1 – Once the correct code is introduced, enter * and 1 in
that order, on the telephone or tone generator. The
equipment emits the message "Enter new code".
2 – Dial the four digits of the new code (do not include *
or #). The equipment emits the message "Dial the
new code".
3 – Dial the four digits of the new code for a second time.
