Danger - Ensure the processor feed breaker is off
when wiring or plugging in the processor assem-
bly power cord.
5. Install Low Voltage Accessory Boards in accordance
with instructions provided with the boards. Two configu-
rations are possible (not every board need be installed for a
given configuration):
a. Dimmer Interface Board configuration - Install one
HWI-D48 Dimmer Interface Board and up to three
HWI-WLB Wire Landing Boards as shown in Figure 3.
The upper left corner mounting hole for the Dimmer
Interface Board is identified by a pink dot on the
rough-in enclosure. The upper left corner mounting
hole for the Wire Landing Boards are identified by
green dots on the rough-in enclosure. Connect ground
wires to the enclosure using any convenient holes.
Note: Do not connect the HWI-D48 ground wire.
b. Contact Closure Board configuration - Install up to
two Contact Closure Boards (HWI-CCO-8 or HWI-
CCI-8) and up to two HWI-WLB wire landing boards
as shown in Figure 4. The upper left corner mounting
holes for the Contact Closure Boards are identified by
orange dots on the rough-in enclosure. The upper left
corner mounting holes for the Wire Landing Boards
are identified by the green dots on the rough-in enclo-
sure. Connect ground wires to the enclosure using
any convenient holes.
6. Install cover. Ensure vents are on the right hand side of
the cover. Tighten screws to 20 in-lbs. (2.3 Nm).

Lutron will, at its option, repair or replace any unit that is defective in materials or manufac-
ture within two years after the purchase. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties,
express or implied, and the implied warranty of merchantability is limited to two years from
purchase. This warranty does not cover the cost of installation, removal or reinstallation, or
damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or damage from improper wiring or installation. This
warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from
state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or conse-
quential damages, or limitation on how long an implied warranty may last, so the above limi-
