ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
2. Decide the amount of pole sections (I) needed for the
desired height and attach those pole sections (I)
together. Run the wires from the lamp holder (F)
through the pole sections (I) into the canopy (J), and
through the mounting bracket (A). Then, screw the end
of the pole sections (I) with the protruding threaded-
nipple onto the canopy (J). Screw the other end of pole
sections (I) to the protruding threaded nipple of the
lamp holder (F).
3. Fasten mounting strap (A) onto the outlet box using
two outlet box screws (B). Ensure that all supply circuit
wires protrude out of the outlet box. Strip ¾ in. of insula-
tion from wire ends of fixture and of supply circuit wires.
Attach ground supply circuit wire and ground fixture
wires together with wire nut (C). Never connect ground
wire to black or white power supply wires. Twist
stripped wire ends of fixture and supply circuit wires
together black to smooth wire (hot) and white to ridged
wire (neutral). Twist on wire nuts (C). Tape wire nuts
and wires together. Carefully tuck connected wires and
wire nuts into outlet box.
(Alternatively, if there is no ground supply circuit wire,
only attach the ground fixture wires to the mounting strap
(A) with the green screw (E)).
4. Place the canopy (G) onto the mounting strap (A);
aligning the two canopy side holes with the two side
holes in the mounting strap (A). Secure into place by
screwing two 3/8 in. machine screws (D) through the two
canopy side holes and into the two side holes in the
mounting strap (A).
5. Attach glass shade (H) to lamp holder (F) and secure
in place tightening the socket nut (G) onto lamp holder
(F). Install light bulb (not included). Only use bulb of
specified type and maimum rated wattage or less.
