The IR illumination distance does not meet expectations
1. Check and make sure that the batteries are fully or sufficiently charged for
operation;
2. "Max. range" offers the best IR lighting. Given that the values of the IR
intervals are based on the setting of the maximum interval; so please adjust
the night mode to Max Range for a better visibility distance during the night;
3. High quality 1.5V NiMH AA batteries can also provide much better IR
lighting; Alkaline batteries may not provide enough amperage to consistently
illuminate at night;
4. To ensure the accuracy and quality of the night image, please mount the
camera in a dark environment, without strong light sources in the frame;
5. A certain environment (such as trees, walls etc.) within the range of the
flash can give you better images at night; please do not point the camera at
the fully open field because if there is nothing in the range of the IR flash it
will not reflect the flash back; it is as if we were pointing a flashlight at the sky
at night, and we could see nothing.
