10. Seal the Walls and Receptor
Silicone the joints between the receptor and the walls and along the vertical joint between the two
walls.
Silicone the joints between the receptor and the base board, and the receptor and the floor.
Allow the silicone to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Install any extra grab bars or towel bars to the bridging installed earlier. Follow the accessory
manufacturer's instructions.
11. Locate the Wall Jambs
Measure 38-1/8" (96.8 cm) (dimension "A") from the back shower wall (not receptor edge) to the
front ledge of the receptor and mark on the receptor with a pencil.
Using a level, plumb the wall jamb with the outside of wall jamb aligned with the mark on the
receptor.
Measurement should be 38-1/8" (96.8 cm) from the back shower wall to the outside edge of the wall
jamb.
