V. MAINTENANCE and TROUBLESHOOTING
Your sowing controller is above all an electronic device. As such it needs to be treated with care. When sowing is complete, it must be
stored in a dry place.
If the cells are fouled, they must be cleaned with a soft brush.
WARNING: Disconnect the console's power supply before performing any welding operations on the tractor or seeder, to
prevent the system from being damaged.
Symptom
The console doesn't light up
The console displays HALP 88 or
HALP 00
The speed is not displayed
The surface area is not displayed
The quantity of grains is not
displayed
The nr of grains/ha display
oscillates significantly
The number of rows displayed is
different from the number for the
seeder
A fault on a row is not signalled by
an alarm
The element does not engage (on
rows fitted with disengageable
heads)
The element does not engage (on

Probable causes
-Inverting of polarities
-Power outage
-Faulty console
-Faulty console
-Speed constant not programmed
-The circle is not displayed on the screen
-The sensor is faulty
-Furrow width not programmed
-The seeder is empty
-The cells are clogged up
-Faulty console
-The cell is feeding the console irregular
pulses
-Incorrect number of rows programmed
-Incorrect number of rows programmed
-The return spring is broken.
-The feed mechanism is becoming jammed
as it rotates.
-The electromagnet's core is not correctly
positioned in relation to the disengageable
head.
-The electrical connection is faulty.
-The electromagnet is faulty.
-Check the polarities
-Check the cable, the battery connection and the fuse
-Contact our After-Sales Service team

-Programme the speed constant (see section IV-2-b)
-Check the sensor's distance from the magnet (around 5mm)
