8. To attach the doors to the unit, slide the hinge arms (G) onto the Hinge Plates (B) as shown in
FIGURE 8A. Tighten the screw marked '2' in FIGURE 8A to fasten the hinge. The door may
need to be adjusted so that all the spaces between the door and the unit sides are equal. To
adjust, follow instructions in FIGURE 8B.

FOR BASE UNITS ONLY:
9. If no adjustable shelf is to be used behind the doors on a base unit, a Door Stop (M) must
be used. Hold the Door Stop (M) against the back of the molding on the top shelf of the base
unit. Center it and draw a pencil mark across the back of the stop on the underside of the top
shelf on the base unit. Slide the Door Stop back until the mark is visible in the slots. Attach
the stop to the underside of the top shelf with Screws (L) on the index line you just drew. The
slots allow for finer adjustment so that the door faces are in line.
10. Attach a Pad (N) to the back of each door where it comes in contact with the
door stop or adjustable shelf.

IMPORTANT:
11. When installing any door kit to a base or hutch unit, you must install a Furniture Tipping
Restraint. This hardware can be found in either the base or the hutch's hardware kit,
depending on furniture configuration. Follow all directions for proper installation.

To move the door towards the side
panel, loosen screw '1' and tighten

and tighten screw '1'

Loosen screw '2' (Just one turn),
adjust door to desired position,
re-tighten screw.

desired position, re-tighten screw.
