GENERAL DESCRIPTION

1067/012A or 1067/012B is a vocal synthesis module that allows you to record and play customized

messages.

CONNECTION WITH THE CONTROL

NOTE: Prior to opening the control panel, enter the maintenance procedure so as to avoid causing the

sirens to sound.

WARNING: The vocal synthesis board must be connected when the control panel is not powered (i.e.

mains supply and battery disconnected).

IDENTIFYING THE CONNECTOR

The vocal synthesis board connector is represented by J4 on the mother board (Fig.1).

FITTING THE CARD THE BOARD

Put the comb connector into its connector and the supporting spacers (supplied with the unit) through the

holes provided on the mother board. (Fig.2).

NOTE: The jumper "C" (Fig. 3) must remain on the B position.

CONNECTING THE AUDIO BUS

Connect the audio bus line twisted pair (if any) with terminals B (Fig. 3).

You need not account for polarity when making the connection.

CONTROL PANEL POWER SUPPLY

Connect the battery of control panel first supply the mains voltage.

MESSAGE RECORDING AND PLAYBACK

Refer to the control panel programming manual for more information on the message recording and

playback procedures.

LANGUAGES SELECTION

Select the desired language using the jumpers JP4 and JP5 (E – Fig. 3).
