4 OPERATION

The system operation, after the setup and installation steps, consists of ensuring that the sensor data is collected
by the gateway or smartphone periodically and transferred to the MFM portal for processing analysis.
The MFM portal features the management of users, plants and sensors. The data treatment enables the users to
analyze the conditions of their assets, and it is possible to set alarms and notifications.
With decades of expertise in the design and construction of electric motors, WEG also offers users the option of
a specialist module for diagnosing motor failures.
