Remove the plug of the water drain when used and let the water drain from the pump's water
tank. Pull the plug out of the water tank and flush the pump's water tank with clean and fresh
water. Let the water flow out of the pump's
water tank again and reattach the water filler plug and the plug for the water drain.

must be set to the "OFF" position.
9.MAINTENANCE
In order to always keep the water pump in perfect operating condition, regular checks and
settings of the pump are required. The regular maintenance also extends the service life of the
pump.
9.1 Changing the motor oil (B, K)
When the pump is used for the first time, the oil must be replaced after one month or 20
operating hours. Then the oil must be replaced every six month or every 100 operating hours.
A hot motor provides for a faster draining of the motor oil.
1. Remove the dipstick and the lid of the drain and then start to drain the used oil.
2. Reattach the lid of the drain and fix it.
3. Fill in new oil until the desired liquid level is
achieved. If you come into contact with the oil, wash your hands with water and soap.
4. Then reinsert the dipstick. Capacity of the oil tank:
NOTE: Dispose of the oil according to the environmental guidelines.

9.2 Maintaining the air filter

A contaminated air filter reduces the throughput
of the intake air to the carburettor. In order to avoid break downs of the carburettor, the filter
must be regularly serviced. If the operating environment is very dirty, the maintenance
frequency must be increased.
CAUTION
Never start the motor without the filter being installed. Otherwise, dirt particles may be sucked
in via the carburettor into the motor which, in turn, increases the wear of the motor.
1. Remove the wing nut and then the cover of the filter and take off the filter element.
2. Clean the filter element with a noncombustible solution and then let it dry.
3. Treat the filter element with a noncombustible solution and then let it dry.
4. Remount the filter element and clean the cover.
9.3 Maintaining the ignition plug (L)
Recommended ignition plugs
In order to maintain proper functionality and operation, the ignition plug must be free of chips
and dirt. In addition, carbon residues must be removed.
1. Remove the cap of the ignition plug.
