Note: The parts cut from the solid and tubular driveshaft must be the same length.
It is necessary to leave 25 mm of play on both ends of the driveshaft.
The instructions for cutting, lubricating, and placing the protection chain on the driveshaft are found in
the pamphlet supplied by the manufacturer, fastened on the driveshaft. It is the exclusive responsibility
of the authorized Nogueira reseller to install and prepare the driveshaft and the first operation of the
machine.

Lifting the cutting bar

The SDN-170A is equipped with a hydraulic piston for placing the cutting bar in a vertical position,
appropriate for transporting the machine connected to the tractor. The tractor must be equipped with a
remote controller valve to operate this by a single action.
Connect the hydraulic hose to the tractor value.
Before activating the hydraulic piston, read the instructions on "Transport position" in this manual.

Keep the hose in good condition. Oil leaks can cause problems to the operation of the hydraulic
system, and even cause accidents.
