Apply a bead of sealant
in the groove.
10. Install Wall Jambs
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Select sealant recommended for use with polypropylene
surfaces. This will ensure that the outside of the wall jambs will properly seal to the walls to
prevent water leakage.
Apply a bead of sealant to the full length of the caulking groove on the back side of the wall jamb.
Slightly overfill the groove with sealant.
With the filled groove toward the outside of the shower, position the wall jamb against the wall.
Align the holes in the wall jamb with the holes in the wall.
Secure the wall jamb to the wall with three #8-18 x 1-3/4" panhead screws.
Repeat this procedure for the second wall jamb.
11. Determine Door Swing Direction
Determine whether the door will pivot right or left.
NOTE: The illustrations and instructions in this guide are for right pivot installations. Left pivot
installations will be opposite of what is illustrated and described.
