2. Use a knife to VERY GENTLY remove the silicon top cover of the soldering contacts. Make
sure to NOT cut too deep otherwise damage the conductors of the led strip! The solder
contacts should be well cleaned to be sure that soldering can be done easily.
3. Using an adapted soldering iron you can solder the corresponding soldering contacts
(respect the markings!) to a multicolor electrical cable. Our CCM-50 cable, order code 4944
is perfect for this job. On the other end of the cable you can do exactly the same.

First make sure to clean the surface and remove any greasy substance! Remove the protection paper
from the tape and press the strips gently in place.
D. Connect the LED strip to the output of your RGB LED controller, using the supplied RGB Power cable.
In most cases one of our LED Managers will be used:
 Press the RGB power cable gently on the first LED strip in the line.
ATTENTION make sure that the colors of the wires correspond to
the markings on the LED strip! See the drawing.
 Choose the right LED Manager model, depending on the power
you need. (see calculation example!)
 Since the LED MANAGER outputs use screw terminals,
you have to cut the 4pin connector on one side of the
supplied RGB power cable: now you have 4 wires with
different colors.
 Connect the colored wires to the corresponding outputs of
screw terminals on the LED Manager.
Important notice: The LED strips are IP65 waterproof but the connection system is not! If you want to use
the LED strips outside, add extra protection to the connections: put a thermal gain over the connectors
and/or use translucent silicon (used for bathrooms) on the connectors to protect them from water. If you use
soldering for the cables and extensions, you should use the same protections.
Hint: You can install the LED-strips also behind opal plastic panels to create color changing walls and
ceilings or in a bar you can install the strips under a translucent shelf to light up bottles and drinking glasses
from the bottom.
