WARNING: When using the
PIC, basic safety precautions
should always be followed:
1.
There may be residual heat
on surface. Do not touch.
2.
To protect against electrical
shock, do not immerse cord,
plugs, or the PIC in water or
other liquids.
3.
Do not operate the PIC with
a damaged cord, plug, after
the appliance malfunctions,
or has been damaged
in any manner. Return
appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility
for examination, repair, or
adjustment.
4.
Close supervision is
necessary when the PIC
is used near children.
This appliance is not
intended for use by persons
(including children) with
reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or
instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
5.
The use of other accessories
that are not intended to be
used with the PIC Flex is
not recommended. Doing so
may damage the PIC and
can cause accidents.
6.
NOT INTENDED FOR
OUTDOOR USE.
7.
Do not use the PIC for other
than its intended use.
8.
Do not let cord hang over
edge of table or countertop
or touch hot surfaces.
9.
Do not let cord come into
contact with sharp edges.
10. Do not place on or near a hot
gas, electric burner, or in a
heated oven, or on stovetop.
11. Never use the cooktop on
a flammable surface (e.g.,
tablecloth, carpet, etc.).
12. Extreme caution must be
used when moving the
PIC with any pots or pans
containing hot oil or other
hot liquids.
13. To disconnect, turn the
PIC Flex off by pressing
Pause/Clear twice, and then
removing the plug from the
wall outlet.
14. When removing the plug
remove by the head, not
the cord.
15. Never put the PIC against
the wall or other appliances.
There should be at least 3
inches of free space for the
back side, left/right sides,
and the top of the PIC.
16. Unplug the PIC from outlet
when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow the PIC Flex
to cool before cleaning,
putting on or taking off parts.
