7.1 Cleaning the filter unit

Remove the filter protection bag from the filter and remove the filter unit from
the appliance. Then clean all the parts of the filter unit using a brush. If a lot of
dirt has accumulated, clean it using a vacuum cleaner.
Note: You can rinse the filter using cold or lukewarm water if needed. Dry the filter
thoroughly before replacing it in the filter unit!
Then mount the filter back on the lid and reattach the filter protection bag over
the filter.
8. Emptying the container
The vacuuming capacity is reduced if the container of the appliance is full.
Open the two locks on the motor unit (3) and then remove the lid from the
container (5).
Empty the contents of the container into an appropriate garbage can.
Caution! Make sure that the contents of the container have cooled down com-
pletely.
9. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never try to open the appliance to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact
with the mains voltage. The appliance is free of current only when disconnected.
Do not short-circuit the product. Please disconnect the power cord when not in
use or during storms. Use the appliance only in dry conditions. Protect it from
high humidity, water and snow. Keep the appliance away from high tempera-
tures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong
vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance
for any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it was subject
to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please follow the national
regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than
those described in the manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach
of children or mentally disabled persons.

nal supplier, will void the warranty or warranty claims. The appliance should only
be used by those who have read and understood this manual. The specifications
of the appliance may be changed without any special prior notification.
