4.4 Actuation directions
The safety sensor can be operated by approaching the handle from all directions.
4.5 Installation with metal plate (articles AN T••0••••)
Attention: The plate must be attached to the guard with 2 M6 screws, of
resistance class 8.8 or higher and with flat seating heads and a spring washer inserted
between screw head and plate. The two screws and two washers are not provided.
Install the screws with medium resistance thread locker with the number of threads
engaged being equal to or greater than the screw diameter.
The handle grip must be attached to the metal plate with 2 M5x16 screws and washer
inserted between screw head and grip. The 2 screws and 2 washers are provided. The
tightening torque of the 2 M5 screws must be between 2.5 and 3.0 Nm.
Attention: Before attaching the grip, insert the electrical connecting cable (where
present) in the exit hole provided in the metal plate, avoiding too tight bending radii or
excessive mechanical stress that can cause damage to or malfunction of the device.
After fixing, you must plug the 2 screw holes with the caps supplied. Inserting the
caps is considered a suitable measure, to reduce the possibility of disassembly to a
minimum, in accordance with EN ISO 14119.
4.6 Installation without metal plate (articles AN T••1••••)
Fix the handle directly on the guard using two M6 flat-bottom screws of resistance
class 8.8 or higher, with an elastic washer placed between the screw head and
the guard profile. The two screws and two washers are not provided. In order to be
properly screwed into the threaded inserts in the grip of the handle, the two M6 screws
must be long enough to be inserted inside the handle for at least 30 mm but not more
than 45 mm.
Attention: If the handle serves as the guard interlocking function, it is mandatory
to use two non-removable (one-way) M6 safety screws, so that the device is immova-
bly fixed to the door frame, pursuant to the requirements of Standard EN ISO 14119.
Attention: Before fixing the grip, properly position the electrical connection cable
(if present) on the guard profile, avoiding bending it too tightly or applying excessive
mechanical stress that could cause damage or malfunctions to the device.4.7 Electri-

4.10 Grip illumination
In versions with a backlit grip (articles an T1B•••••), illumination of the internal lEDs
can be controlled via RGB technology, thus creating basic colour combinations, which
allow the handle to be backlit with the following standard colours.

Colours are not dimmable. Inputs R, G, B are digital and not compatible with
high-frequency controls. Flashing effects up to a maximum frequency of 4 Hz are
permitted.
5 OPERATION
5.1 Illumination
indicate the initialisation phase of the device's internal electronics.
Once the initialisation phase is complete, the handle grip lights up with the colour
configured by the installation engineer.
5.2 Faults and anomalies
Should faults or errors occur in the internal device electronics, the end LED on the grip
lights up in red, signalling the anomalies present with the corresponding illumination
and flashing sequences listed in the table. The signalling is repeated at regular
intervals for a 3-second duration.

If multiple errors are present at the same time, the highest priority error only is
indicated. For example, where both a temperature warning and a voltage warning are
present, only the temperature signalling sequence is indicated; the voltage warning
sequence is indicated only once the temperature warning is no longer active, i.e. the
temperature exits the alert threshold.
