STRAP ATTACHMENT
A short wrist strap or lanyard is provided to help prevent accidently dropping the monocular during use. To attach the strap,
insert the loop at the end of the strap through the strap lug next to the monocular's battery cover, then pass the strap back
through the loop and pull until tight to secure in place.
CARE AND STORAGE
Your Bushnell® Image Stabilized Monocular will provide years of trouble-free service if it receives the normal care you would
give any fine optical instrument.
•
Do not drop the monocular or cause a severe impact, this may damage internal components.
•
Store the monocular in a cool, dry place whenever possible. Avoid extreme temperature changes.
•
When the monocular will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the unit, then store it
in a well-ventilated place, avoiding high temperature and humidity.
•
Never leave the monocular in a car or near a source of heat as it could cause damage.
CLEANING
1.
Blow away any dust or debris on the objective lens and eyepiece lens (or use a soft lens brush).
2.
To remove dirt or finger prints, clean with the supplied micro-fiber cloth rubbing in a circular motion. Use of a coarse
cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface and eventually cause permanent damage. Simply breathe
lightly on the lens to provide a slight amount of moisture, and then gently rub the lens with the microfiber cloth.
3.
For a more thorough cleaning, photographic lens tissue and photographic-type lens cleaning fluid or isopropyl alcohol
may be used. Always apply the fluid to the cleaning cloth – never directly on the lens.
NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN WITH YOUR MONOCULAR,
AS IT MAY CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO YOUR EYES
