CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
DO NOT WASH Ozone Emission Removal Filter or
HEPA/Activated Carbon Combo Filter. Ozone Emission
Removal Filter should be replaced every 20 years.
The HEPA/Activated Carbon Combo Filter should be
replaced up to 1 year, depending on how often the unit
is running and the environment in which it is operating.
Cleaning the Filters
To clean the Bio-Guard
Remove filter.
1.
Spray mild degreaser, let sit for 2-3 minutes.
2.
Submerge in warm water, shake, remove.
3.
Repeat process until clean.
4.
Rinse with warm water.
5.
Dry completely before use.

The Pre-Filter collects large particles and will need to
be cleaned at least once every two months depending
on use.
Use a vacuum or paper towel to remove any dust or lint.
