MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the air conditioner from the outlet before cleaning. To maximize the efficiency of the air conditioner,
clean regularly.
Cleaning the Filter
Remove the filter from the back of the unit. Use a vacuum cleaner or gently tap the filter to remove loose dust and dirt,
then rinse thoroughly under warm running water. Dry thoroughly before returning the filter to the correct position.
NOTE: Never operate the unit without the filter.
Cleaning the Housing
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the body clean.
Never use chemicals, gasoline, detergents, chemically treated cloths or other cleansing solutions as this could possibly
damage the housing.
Storage
• Drain any water from the unit by removing the drain plug and emptying the water through the drain port into a suitable
container.
Reinsert the plug and run in the fan mode only for at least two hours to dry the unit internally.
• Clean the filter
• If possible, place back in its original carton or cover for storage.
• Always keep the unit in the upright position
