» Never leave the child unattended.
» Improper use and non-observance of the instructions/safety instructions can lead from serious injury to death of a passenger.
» The 5-point safety belt must be used at all times.
» Note that the braking distance and turning circle are changed by pulling the trailer.
» Avoid fast change of direction and evasion manoeuvres, drive in a controlled manner on steep roads and around bends
» Be aware of the negative influence of the Bike Trailer on the braking distance of the cycle.
» The cover of the Bike Trailer must be closed at all times to protect the children during the ride.
» Children must always wear a suitable safety helmet.
» The brake should always be engaged during the loading and unloading of children.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
» Check with the bicycle manufacturer's instruction manual whether your bicycle is suitable for pulling the bicycle trailer.
» The Bike Trailer can be used to transport up to two children on public roads and in private.
» We recommend to use the Bike Trailer on as even a surface as possible, with little road traffic and in daylight.
» The bike trailer can be used with any standard adult bicycle, e-bike and pedelec. Motorised vehicles are excluded.
» Legal restrictions may apply to the use of e-bikes and pedelecs. Always follow local regulations as well as national and legal
requirements on public roads.
» Please follow the instructions on pages 11 - 21 for proper assembly.
» Follow the correct operation of the connecting device of the bicycle trailer to the bicycle (drawbar).
» Always follow local regulations, as well as national and legal requirements, when using the bike trailer.
» Reflectors on the body are already present. Use the light, which is included in delivery, in accordance with the prescribed StVZO.
» Driving without a functioning lighting system is not permitted, follow all local lighting regulations. If you use the Bike Trailer at
dusk, in the dark, or in poor visibility conditions, make sure there is sufficient lighting.
» Regularly check all important components, such as drawbar, connecting devices, frame, safety belts, lighting, tyres and wheels,
etc. to your safe condition. Check regularly that the screw connections are sufficiently tightened.
» The seat is suitable for two children with a weight of 22kg each and a height of 120cm. An additional load of 6kg is permitted.
» The minimum or the maximum drawbar load is determined by placing the end of the drawbar on a scale in a horizontal position and weighing
the trailer at minimum (empty) or maximum load (with passengers and luggage). The minimum support load is 5kg and the maximum 13kg.
» The total mass in loaded condition is 70kg. The nominal load is 50kg, this must not be exceeded.
» The tyre pressure (2.5 - 3.4 Bar / 36 - 50 Psi) must always be maintained.
» If you carry only one child, it should sit on the right side in the direction of travel.
» The children must be old enough to be able to sit upright unaided.
» For children under 6 months, suitable accessories must be used for transportation.
» Batteries (2x AAA) are not included in the scope of delivery.
» Only when the indicator changes from red to green, all locks are correctly engaged.
» To check if the wheel is correctly installed, pull it away from the body – it must not detach itself from the axle.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

By regular care and maintenance of all parts and components you counteract premature wear and tear and keep the bike
trailer permanently ready for operation.
» Only use water, household cleaning agents and soft cloths for cleaning. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
» Carry out regular internal and external cleaning of the cabin.
» Care for all moving parts with silicone spray.
» Dry the frame and the entire cover after each use.
» Replace corroded steel and aluminum parts, bent assemblies and porous/fragile plastic parts immediately.
» Correct any defects that occur professionally.
» Check the Bike Trailer for roadworthiness, e.g. the air pressure of the wheels, before each journey.
» Regularly check whether the locks and belts show signs of wear.
» Check all fasteners regularly, tighten loose parts.
» Always store the bike trailer in a dry, protected place without direct sunlight.
