Refer to Figure 1 and the following steps to install your spillway:
1. Insert the grommet into the back of the spillway from the
outside, with the smaller flange inserted into the hole.
2. Select the proper fitting for your spillway.
3. Lubricate the outside of the fitting's non-threaded side with
liquid detergent.
4. Push the fitting through the grommet from the outside of the
spillway until approximately 1/4" to 3/8" of the fitting is visible
on the inside of the spillway. The friction of the sealing grommet
holds the pipe tightly in place.
5. Insert the filter media between the ribs in the spillway.

6. Determine the height of the spillway, then camouflage the

spillway using natural stone and earth. NOTE: Using a pump
that exceeds the recommended size can cause the filter media
to rise. If this occurs, place a cover of lightweight material over
the top of the spillway.
