Intended Use
The ContiConnect Bluetooth Kit includes the ContiConnect Bluetooth Dongle. This reads out
the data of a ContiPressureCheck system and transfers it via a Bluetooth connection to the
ContiConnect driver app installed on your Android end device (e.g. smartphone). The dongle is
connected to the ContiPressureCheck system with a Y cable (K wiring harness).

WARNING: The ContiConnect Bluetooth Dongle is not suitable for connection to the vehicle's
OBD interface.

• Working on a vehicle can be hazardous. Observe trade association safety and accident
prevention regulations when performing all work.
• Before carrying out work on the on-board power supply, it is imperative that the relevant vehicle
manufacturer's instructions are observed.
• This installation manual is intended for auto repair shop personnel with specialist knowledge in
vehicle electrics.
• Keep the installation manual in close proximity to the workstation at all times. It must be read
and followed by all those charged with installation, commissioning, operation and/or
diagnostics.
Requirements
1. A ContiPressureCheck system, including tire sensors and a Central Control Unit (CCU) is
installed in the vehicle. The ContiConnect Bluetooth Dongle is connected to the CCU and the
vehicle with the K wiring harness. A power supply is provided by the vehicle.
2. You are using a smartphone/tablet with Android version 4.3 or higher. Your Android device is
connected to the ContiConnect Bluetooth Dongle. The ContiConnect driver app has been
installed and launched on your Android device. The ContiConnect driver app is available in
many countries and for a range of different platforms. Before installing the ContiConnect
Bluetooth Dongle, please make sure that the app is available for your device/platform.
3. The ContiPressureCheck system is correctly configured in accordance with J1939. For
installation and operation, please observe this leaflet and the ContiPressureCheck system
installation manual. The latter can be found under http://www.contipressurecheck.com/downloads.


Before transferring the ContiPressureCheck data to the ContiConnect Driver App, you must
connect the ContiConnect Bluetooth Dongle to the existing ContiPressureCheck system as
