This feature is set from factory. This feature allows the air condi-
tioner to keep in memory the selected settings and values after a
blackout or a voltage drop.
To turn off the AUTORESTART feature, proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the power supply.
2. Press the emergency pad while plugging the unit to the power
supply.
3. Keep pressing the emergency pad for more than 10 seconds until
you hear four short beeps from the unit. The AUTORESTART func-
tion will be off.
To turn on the AUTORESTART function again, follow the same
procedure until you hear three short beeps from the unit.

If the remote control is lost or won't work, proceed as follows:
Lift the unit's front panel to access the emergency pad.
1. By pressing the emergency pad once (single beep), the air condi-
tioner will work in forced cooling mode.
2. If you press the emergency pad twice (two beeps), the unit will
work in forced heating mode.
3. To turn off the unit, just press the pad one more time (you will
hear a single long beep). After 30 minutes working at the forced
mode, the air conditioner will automatically start working in the
FEEL mode (explained later).
The shape and position of the emergency pad may vary according
with model, but its function remains the same.
