finishing the indoor unit installation
Wrap using tape
After having connected the pipes according to the instructions, in-
stall the connection cables. Then install the drain pipe.
Arrange the connection assembly as shown in the figure, and wrap
it using plastic tape. Place an isolation at the pipes connections and
secure it with plastic tape.
Run the connection assembly through the wall hole and firmly
mount the indoor unit onto the upper part of the mounting plate.
Push the bottom of the indoor unit firmly against the mounting
plate until they lock one against the other.
installing the outdoor unit
• The outdoor unit should be firmly installed on a strong and solid
place.
• Before connecting pipes and cables, decide which is the best po-
sition to install the outdoor unit, and allow proper clearances to
be able to carry out maintenance jobs easily.
• Fasten the unit using proper screws according to the type of ma-
terial that will be used as supporting surface.
• Use stronger screws than needed. Have in mind that they will be
submitted to vibration and must efficiently fasten the unit for
years.
• The unit must be installed following the national governing
codes.
