Tools Required: Phillips Head Screwdriver, Wood Glue, Rubber Mallet or Padded Hammer.
Angled end of
side stretcher.
1. Glue the Side Aprons (Hc) to the Back Leg Assembly (Vc). The square end of the aprons must face
toward the front and the angled end must match the angle on the Back Leg Assembly.
Glue the Side Stretchers (Nc) into the Back Leg Assembly. See Figure 1.
2. Spread glue in the holes in the Front Leg Assembly (Wc) and attach it to the side aprons and side
stretchers. Tap firmly in place. Quickly remove any glue that drips out of the holes.

DO NOT LAY THE CHAIR ON ITS BACK WHEN YOU TAP THE FRONT LEG ASSEMBLY
INTO PLACE BECAUSE YOU MIGHT DAMAGE THE BACK.
