IMPORTANT WARNINGS

• Read these instructions carefully
• Ensure that the voltage shown on the data label is the same as that of the electricity sup-
ply.
• Carefully wash all removable parts before use.
• Do not carry the appliance during operation.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use, before cleaning it and before fitting or removing
parts.
• Never leave the machine in operation near children.
• Do not place the appliance on or near heat sources.
• Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop.
• NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR BLOCK, THE POWER CORD OR THE PLUG IN WA-
TER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
• NEVER TOUCH THE MOVING PARTS.
• Place the machine on a stable surface where it cannot be knocked over. Never use the
appliance outdoors. Do not place the machine on very hot surfaces or near naked flames
in order to prevent damage to the body.
• Choose a sufficiently well lit and clean environment, with an easily accessible electric sock-
et.
• Never direct the steam or hot water jet towards parts of the body; handle the steam/hot
water spout with care: risk of scalding!
• To avoid personal injury and damage to the appliance, always keep your hands and
utensils away from the moving parts.
• Handle rollers (2) and (12) with care; blades are sharp.
• Before operating the appliance, be sure to properly fit roller (2) on spindle (3) and to lock
cover (1) on body (4).
• Never feed the ingredients into the appliance by hand. Always use the food pusher.
• The appliance will not start unless the container (11) is fitted correctly.
• The appliance will not start if the hopper (5) or the ice crushing accessory (13) are not fitted
correctly.
• Do not reach with your hands inside the container (11) as you may cut yourself with
the roller.
• Do not operate the appliance when it is empty.
• Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if the appli-
ance is faulty. In either case, take the appliance to the nearest Authorized Ariete Service
Centre.
• Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cord.
• The use of extensions not approved by the manufacturer can result in damage to property
or personal injury.
• To prevent the risk of electric shock, if the power supply or the power cord need to be re-
placed or serviced, have the operation performed by an Authorized Ariete Service Centre,
or in any case by a qualified electrician.
• The appliance is designed for HOME USE ONLY and is unsuitable for commercial and
industrial purposes.
• To avoid overheating the appliance, observe the 5 minute limit imposed over uninterrupted
