When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles and knobs.
3. To protect against electric hazards, do not immerse cord, plug or the
temperature control probe in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when appliance is used near children.
This appliance is not to be used by children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow unit to
cool before putting or taking off parts and before cleaning appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return
the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for any
examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by
manufacturer may cause hazards.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of the table or counter or touching hot
surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near the stove, gas, or oven.
11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing
hot liquids.
12. Always attach temperature control probe to the appliance first, then
plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn temperature control
dial to the off, then disconnect plug from wall.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. Always preheat skillet for about 5 minutes.
