Operating Instructions
This is a free standing heater. It requires 3 feet (0.91 meters) of clearance around all its sides. Your unit
is shipped as a corded unit. When used as configured (corded) out of the box, its portability allows you
to move the heater from one location to another.
Wiring
In accordance with ANSI/NFPA 70, the ER5000W.01 240V heater unit comes with a 7 foot cord and plug.
The plug must use an outlet capable of carrying 240 volts, 5,000 watts, and 30 amperes.
Maintenance
Keep small objects from entering the unit.
When not in use for long periods the heater may collect dust on it and in it. Wipe down the outside shell
with a damp cloth and if possible use compressed air to blow out the inside.
Make sure unit is unplugged and cool before preforming any maintenance.
Controls
The heating unit has a bulb thermostat dial mounted on the unit.
