INTENDED USE
1012 P2 R filters, when completed with an appropriate two-filter half mask or mask, protect the respiratory system against
particulate aerosols (dusts, flumes) and liquid aerosols (mists) as long as the concentration of the dispersed aerosol phase does not
exceed:
•
For the 1012 P2 R filter – 10 x OEL (Occupational Exposure Limit), if assembled with a half mask, and 16,5 x OEL, if
assembled with a mask.
RECOMMENDATIONS RESTRICTIONS ON THE USE:
1.
Filters should be used only in accordance with this instruction manual that includes the correct selection, use and storage.
2.
Filters should be used with half masks or masks equipped with appropriate bayonet holders:
•
Half masks: OXYLINE X1000, OXYLINE X1200;
•
Full masks with a bayonet connection identical to the OXYLINE connection
The use of filters mentioned in this manual with other face masks requires appropriate control tests to be carried out.
3.
When assembled with an appropriate half mask or mask, these filters protect the respiratory system against harmful and toxic
substances in the form of solid and liquid aerosols (dusts, fumes, mists).
NOTE: Half masks and masks assembled with 1012 P2 R filters do not protect against carbon monoxide. Do not use
half masks with filters near fires.
4.
Masks and half masks assembled with 1012 P2 R filters must not be used if oxygen deficiency occurs (below 18% vol.), e.g. in
wells, ducts, and non-ventilated rooms with small cubature.
5.
If during the use of the filters you feel a significant increase in breathing resistance, leave the affected area and replace both
elements at the same time.
6.
Before use, absorbers should be stored only in the original packaging.
7.
Half-masks and masks with filters 1012 P2 R should not be used where there may be a lack of oxygen (below 18% by
volume), e.g. in wells, canals, unventilated rooms with low volume.
FIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Place the filter opening on the half mask / mask connector so that the connector tabs fit into the filter opening. One of the
tabs is narrower and the hole fits the connector in one position only. Press the filter against the half mask - the connector
tabs will hide inside the filter.
2.
Turn the filter clockwise until it stops.
