Installing the faucet assembly
CAUTION: Always shut off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
□
Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
□
Clean the mounting surface.
□
Remove the preassembled lock nut (C) and
washer (B) from the new faucet (A).
□
WITH FLANGE: Before installation, ensure that
the flange (D) is placed on the bottom of the
new faucet (A). Place the faucet (A) through the
mounting holes in the sink until the faucet (A)
sets on top of the sink.
□
WITH DECK PLATE: Before installation, remove
the flange (D). Align the hole in the gasket
(F) and deck plate (E) with the mounting hole in
the sink. Place the faucet (A) through the deck
plate (E) and mounting hole in the sink until
the faucet (A) sets on top of deck plate (E).
NOTE: Silicone sealant is required under the gasket (F).

Securing the faucet assembly
□
Install the washer (B) onto the threaded bolt.
□
Thread the lock nut (C) onto the bolt using the
wrench (N) provided to tighten firmly.
