SWITCHING ON SAFELY

The Axioscope 5/7/Vario microscope is delivered in a partially assembled condition. It can be set up and
calibrated by the customer himself or through the ZEISS service.

• Connect the microscope's power supply (4 8 6 H F ig. 4/2) with its power cord to an electrical outlet.
• Switch the microscope on using the main switch (4 8 6 H F ig. 4/1) on the left side of the stand.
• If installed, switch on the HBO 100 external fluorescent illumination source.
• If available, select the transmitted or reflected light illuminator by pushing the TL or RL button.
