CLEANING AND CARE

Proper hygiene is extremely important when using the liner. Please review these care instructions
very thoroughly with the amputee.
Daily Cleaning
Thoroughly clean
the side of the liner
without the fins.
Use lukewarm tap
water and a mild
body soap that does
not irritate the skin.
Apply the soap with
a clean, soft cloth or
sponge.
Side

Rinse all the soap
residue from the liner
with water.
Notes:
Do not scrub the liner. Scrubbing
can roughen the surface of the liner,
which can then irritate the skin.
Caution: Drying the liner
with the fins facing in will
damage the liner.
Dry the liner with a
clean, lint-free cloth.
Side

Place the liner, with
the fins on the
outside, onto the
Drying Stand* or
onto a clean, dry, flat
surface.
Clean the residual
limb with soap and
rinse well.
