TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction
Device does not start
following paper insertion.
The device does not
switch off after shreeding
the paper.
The device is very loud.
The device does not work.
If the device fails to work after you have applied the preceding solutions, pull the power plug
from the socket and contact your dealer.
Causes
1. Plug not correctly inserted
in socket
2. Paper too think.
3. Paper jam.
The sensor of the feed is
covered by dust or paper.
The device does not stand on
a firm, level surface.
1. Paper quantity exceeds
shredder capacity.
2. Paper size exceeds feed
width.
3. Paper not inserted
vertically.
Troubleshooting
1. Put the plug in the socket
once more.
2. Fold paper and reinsert in
shredder.
3. Activate "Rev" function
and pull the jammed
paper out.
Wipe off the dust or remove
the paper.
Put the device on a firm,
level surface.
1. Make sure that quantity
does not exceed shredder
capacity.
2. Pull out paper; if appl..
activate "Rev" function.
3. Insert paper vertically.
