The device supplies the onboard network with a steady voltage
during battery replacement, to prevent the loss of saved memory
contents. This mode is inactive in the standard setting and does not
appear in the list of modes. It can be set up via the

• Black clamp connected to a bare part of the body.
• Connect the red clamp to the positive battery connector so that the
battery can be removed without removing the clamp.
