Using the Features

• Selector Knob Turn to choose mA, VDC, T/C, ohms, RTD, FREQ, or VAC READ.
• SOURCE/READ Button Press to select the function.
• RANGE/TYPE Button Press to select measurement range, scale, temperature element type, or
display format.
Source Ranges
Milliamp: mA, %mA, 2-Wire Sim, %2-Wire Sim, Pwr Xmtr, %Pwr Xmtr
VDC: mV, V
T/C types: J, T, E, and K in °C and °F
Ohms: Resistance in ohms
RTD: 100 Ω platinum (Pt) or 50 Ω copper (Cu) RTD in °C and °F
Frequency: kHz, Hz, CPM (counts per minute)
Read Ranges
Milliamp: mA, %mA
VDC: mV, 10V, 200V
T/C: J, T, E, and K in °C and °F
Ohms: Resistance in ohms, continuity
RTD: 100 Ω platinum (Pt) or 50 Ω copper (Cu) RTD in °C and °F
Frequency: kHz, Hz, CPM (counts per minute)
VAC: AC Voltage
• POWER Button Press momentarily to turn the unit on or off.
• Toggle Switch Flip to select the desired function.
Source Mode The HI, SET and LO outputs will be the same as previously stored.
Each function recalls its stored outputs.
Read Mode Set to READ to display present reading. Set to MAX or MIN to display
maximum or minimum readings.
• STORE/RESET Button puts the present output value into memory while in the Source mode.
Resets MAX and MIN values in READ mode. Also used to reset stored values to factory
defaults. See the Returning to the Default Settings section.
• Digital Potentiometer (Pot) Turn to set the desired value. Turn slowly to make a gradual
change in the output or turn it faster to make a faster change.
