Lt = 1.5 mm
Fixed traversing length with half pre-travel/post-travel
Lt = 4.8 mm
(without pre-travel/post-travel: 1.25 mm, 4.0 mm,
Lt = 15.0 mm
12.5 mm).
Lt = N x Lc
Traversing length = number n of sampling lengths x
length of cutoff.
Traversing length freely defined (e.g. Lt = 16 mm for
Lt
mm
MOTIF).
Automatic
The traversing length is set automatically during the
measurement depending on the magnitude of the
value for RSm or Rz (as per DIN EN ISO 4288 and
ASME B46. 1 ).
One-off display in title bar "Lt = Automatic".
N 5
Number N of sampling lengths (as per ISO, JIS,
ANSI/ASME).
Entry of N = 1 to 16 (only for "Lt = N x Lc").
N
Half
Traversing length includes a pre-travel and a post-
travel measuring half the length of the cutoff.
None
Traversing length without pre-travel/post-travel.
Automatic
Profile is automatically filtered after the measurement
with a cutoff wavelength of 2.5 µm or 8.0 µm de-
pending on the traversing length.
2.5 µm
Ls filter with a fixed value.
8.0 µm
Off
Ls filter is disabled.
