WARNING
Hazard due to use of the wrong fasteners Use of the wrong fasteners can lead to tool malfunctions and/or
injuries.
▶ In particular, make sure that you are using suitable fasteners collated at the correct angle in the magazine.
There is a retention spring in the bottom of the magazine. If the maximum number of fasteners in
the magazine is exceeded, the last strip of nails to be inserted cannot be held back by this spring.
Remove the strip of nails that was last inserted.
1. Insert the fasteners into the magazine from below, pointing in the right direction.
CAUTION
Injury due to inattention Inattention can result in your fingers being trapped.
▶ Move the nail pusher carefully, pull it steadily back over the nails, until it snaps into place at the bottom
end of the nail strip.
2. Push the fasteners as far as they will go toward the nosepiece.
The nail strip could suffer damage if the nail pusher is allowed to strike it with force. Do not allow
the nail pusher to strike the nail strip with force.
