Functions

General function

The ACE 2.0 is fitted with a proximity sensor
(radar sensor) and a vibration sensor (G sensor)
and can record images and video sequences
(media data). It is primarily controlled using the
ACE 2.0 app (see section
A defined logic system in the operating modes
described below enables the sensors to monitor
the car.
If a sensor is tripped, it does not
necessarily mean that there is an incident
involving the car.
For example, the G-sensor may trip when
a person gets into or out of the car if it is
set to a high sensitivity level.
To minimise the number of incorrect
messages, the sensitivity of the sensors
can be adjusted using the settings
menu on the ACE 2.0 app to satisfy your
individual requirements (environment
when parking, driving style and route
characteristics).

Driving mode

Driving mode is started automatically assumes
the car's ignition is switched on. The car is then
monitored by the vibration sensor (G-sensor).
In the event of vibration above the set trigger
threshold (sensitivity), a signal tone sounds from
the ACE 2.0 Speaker. The camera records a
separate 60-second video sequence and the
security LEDs on the camera start a defined light
sequence (the front camera is lit and flashes, the
rear window camera is lit).
Continuous recording to the micro SD card
in driving mode is not included in the default
settings. This function must be enabled manually
in the ACE 2.0 app in "Settings" > "Recording
Settings".
"ACE 2.0
app").
If this setting is enabled, a video is recorded
permanently and written to the micro SD card in
one-minute sequences and then stored in the
>DRIVING< folder.
Please check at regular intervals whether
permanent media recording in driving
mode is permitted in the country in which
you are located.

Parking mode

The ACE 2.0 automatically switches to parking
mode when the car's ignition is switched off.
The area in front of and behind the car can be
monitored by the radar and G-sensors.
In the default settings, both the G-sensor
and the radar sensor are disabled.
Monitoring using the radar and G-sensors must
be enabled manually in the ACE 2.0 app in
"Settings" > "Recording Settings".
Please check at regular intervals whether
monitoring using radar technology in park
mode is permitted in the country in which
you are located.
If a vibration is detected by the car or a
movement detected by the radar sensor (if these
functions have been enabled), a 20-second
sequence will be recorded and the cameras'
security LEDs will start a defined light sequence
(the front camera is lit and flashes, the rear
window camera is lit). The videos are then saved
in the >PARKING< folder on the micro SD card.
