Car Location
To ensure that this function works, the ACE 2.0
must be connected to the ACE 2.0 app when
you switch from driving to parking mode. You
must therefore disable the power saving mode
on your smartphone. On certain smartphones,
the connection between ACE 2.0 and the
smartphone may fail if power saving mode is
active. Furthermore, some smartphone models
do not generally support a permanent Wi-Fi
connection with other devices. Malfunctions may
occur due to a possible Wi-Fi failure.
If the ACE 2.0 is connected to the ACE 2.0 app
when you switch to parking mode, an image will
be saved from both the front and rear window
cameras in the "Car Location" menu point in the
ACE 2.0 app.
At the same time the position of the car will be
shown on a map (the smartphone must have a
GPS signal for this to work). The ACE 2.0 must
have a GPS signal when you switch to parking
mode, otherwise the last location of the car when
a GPS signal was available will be displayed.
This scenario may occur, for example, if you park
in an underground or multi-storey car park.

ACE 2.0 app
The ACE 2.0 app must not be used by
the driver whilst the engine is running or
whilst driving.
Connect your smartphone to the Wi-Fi hotspot
of the ACE 2.0 and start the ACE 2.0 app (see
section "Commissioning"). The main menu
appears. You can access the menu points by
tapping the icons.
The recording can be stopped
temporarily whilst you change the
settings and play the videos and images
on the micro SD card. Listen to the voice
output from the camera.
The following contains a summary of the ACE
2.0 app contents.
