» Vapors emitted from damaged
rechargeable batteries may cause
respiratory irritation.
- Ensure there is a supply of fresh air.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms occur.
» Only use the genuine TRUMPF
rechargeable battery in conjunction
with your TRUMPF power tool. This is
the only way to protect the rechargeable
battery from dangerous overcharging.
» Only recharge the rechargeable
batteries with rechargers
recommended by the manufacturer.
There is a risk of fire from a recharger
suitable for a particular type of
rechargeable battery when used with
rechargeable batteries other than the
recommended ones.
» Read the recharger operating
instructions before starting to charge
the rechargeable batteries.
» The rechargeable battery may be
damaged by sharp objects such as
nails or screwdrivers or by external
forces. The rechargeable battery may
short-circuit and burn, smoke, explode
or overheat.
» The rechargeable battery is partly
charged upon delivery. Before first
use, charge the rechargeable battery
with an appropriate recharger in order
to guarantee the rechargeable battery's
full power.
» Incorrect use can cause liquid
to escape from the rechargeable
battery. Avoid contact with it. Rinse the
affected areas of the body with water if
accidental contact occurs. If the liquid
gets into your eyes, additionally seek
medical attention. Leaking rechargeable
battery liquid can cause skin irritation or
burns.
