FANERGY fans also have an optional integral water spray insert for generating
water mist. High-expansion foam can likewise be produced in conjunction with
a foam net and/or PE FILM tube.

Open out the grab handle to move or position the fan.
▪
To do this, pull on the orange spring pin on the right-hand side of the frame
and open out the grab handle until the spring pin engages.
▪
At the end of the operation or after using the fan, set the nozzle to the neutral
vertical position, pull on the spring pin and fold the grab handle to the front
until it engages.
5.1 Fans with combustion engines

Before using the fan, it is necessary to inquire in detail about the location
so that the fan can be used optimally. Please pay attention to the weather
situation, the prevalent local conditions and the mission-tactical approach.
▪
The distance to the access opening of an object depends on the above
criteria. In most cases, a distance of about 2 m to the access opening is
recommended to attain the best results.
▪
Check the oil level (pre-filled ex works). Please refer to the notes in the motor
operating manual.
▪
Fill the fuel tank with petrol, at least ROZ91. E10 fuel may be used. Please
refer to the notes in the motor operating manual.
▪
All petrol-driven fans are equipped with single-cylinder 4-stroke motors.
▪
Start the motor according to the instructions in the motor operating manual.

5.2 Fans with an electric motor

As a standard, the fans with an electric motor come with an electronic start-
up current limiter (except E16EX). This ensures that the fan starts up reliably
whether operated by power generating set or household mains supply.
▪
Power consumption is max. 13 A and the fan can thus be operated by electric
motor without intermediate devices.
▪
After connecting the fan to the power source (mains, power generating set),
set the main switch to "ON".
