Removing the Slim HP Color Cap
The arrow on the underside of the Slim HPs indicates
where the Slim HP Color Cap removal tool can be inserted
to remove the Color Cap from the Slim HP. Insert the tool
as indicated by the arrow to pop the Color Cap off of the
Slim HP.
Magnets
It is important for your headpiece to have the correct
magnet strength and orientation to avoid discomfort
or retention issues. Contact your cochlear implant
professional if there are any concerns regarding magnet
retention. If deemed appropriate, your cochlear implant
professional may replace the headpiece magnet with a
stronger or weaker magnet or adjust magnet orientation.
If needed, you may use off-the-shelf solutions to improve
retention.
