To replace mower blade drive belt
Belt removal
1. Park tractor on level surface, and set parking
brake.
2. Lower attachment lift lever to its lowest
position.
3. Disconnect belt tensioner bar (K) from support
(L).
Caution!
The belt tensioner bar behaves as a spring.
Hold tight and couple slowly.
4. Remove Mandrel cover (Q) bolts (P) and the
covers.
5. Clean dirt or grass clippings from around
mandrels and from the deck upper surface.
6. Remove old belt from all pulleys, electric
clutch (M), mandrels (R) and all idler gears (S).
Belt installation
1. Install new belts in mandrel pulleys (R) and in
idler pulleys (S) as shown in the figure.
2. Install new belt in electric clutch pulley (M).
Important:
Make sure belt is in all pulley grooves.
3. Reinstall mandrel covers (Q) and tighten all
bolts.
4. Couple belt tensioner bar (K) onto support (L).
Caution!
The belt tensioner bar behaves as a spring.
Hold tight and couple slowly.
5. Raise attachment lift lever to its highest
position.
