HOSE REMOVAL
NOTE! Before beginning installation, use a 9/16 in. (14mm) socket wrench to remove the port and star-
board side engine block drain plugs to drain any water in the engine.

1. Using a 5/16 in. (8mm) socket, loosen screws A.
Remove the hose leading from the thermostat
housing C to the circulation pump D. Remove
the hose clamps B from the hose.

2. Locate the tie-strap E holding the hoses
together at the raw water pump inlet and outlet.
Cut the tie-strap using clippers F.

3. Using a 5/16 in. (8mm) socket, loosen screws
on the raw water pump inlet and outlet hose
clamps. Remove the hose G from the raw water
outlet H.
